1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your name and email address via Google OAuth
- Restaurant information you provide (name, menu, hours, contact details)
- Images you upload to your media gallery
- Usage data including page views on your public restaurant site
- Billing information processed securely by Stripe (we never store card numbers)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the RestoWebMaker service
- To publish your public restaurant website
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To show you analytics about your restaurant site traffic
- To send transactional emails (billing receipts, account notices)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with third-party services necessary to operate the platform:
- Google — authentication via OAuth
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
- Anthropic — AI menu scanning (images are processed but not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request)
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your data — including your restaurant, menu, and media — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and export your data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and all associated data from your account settings
- Object to or restrict certain processing
6. Cookies
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
7. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are not stored — authentication is handled via Google OAuth. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
